How To: Reactivate Any Blocked Instagram Account

This is a beginner level tutorial.

One day I found myself in front of a login-blocked Instagram account. Of course they didn't give me the reason why, so I decided to also don't give them what they expected from me.

They forced me to add a cellphone number to my account and upload a selfie of myself holding up a number on a piece of paper.

What did I do

First I looked up "free SMS online number", took the second US-based number and it worked instantly. Instagram accepted the code.

Step #2: Upload a selfie of yourself holding the number 9383 1991. I googled for a free AI image generator and found one that enabled me to generate 3 images.

The first image was complete crap. Next try. Error. Try again. Ok that's a photo but that guy is holding up a wrong number...

Whatever! To hell with that Instagram account. I uploaded it.

One day later I found my Instagram account back online.

What happened

Probably there's a lot of manual reactivation work to do at the moment and Meta accepted this blindly. I have no other idea why that would have worked.
